At City Church we believe that communion is a time when Christ-followers remember the past in order to live for the future. We take communion for four reasons:
- Remember the sacrifice
- Repent of the sin
- Receive the forgiveness
- Resurrect the freedom
We desire for communion to be special and spiritually significant each time. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the mounth in our Sunday worship services, and sometimes also in Life Groups
