New to church?
Visiting a new church can be a daunting experience

Visiting a new church can be a daunting experience

Maybe you are returning to church, or coming to church for the very first time. You may feel like people are watching you or perhaps that people may judge you. "Will the preacher condemn me from the stage?" "Will people judge me if I look differently than they do?"

Just as Jesus came not to condemn, but to offer life to the full, so we will not condemn you and our desire is that you experience the abundant life along with us that God promises. We all come to God just as we are, imperfect people to a perfect God who accepts us and who lavishes His love on us.

A few tips to help you when you visit City Church:
- Feel free to come dressed casually or smartly. We have no dress code - whatever makes you comfortable is great with us.
- Sit anywhere you like, there are no assigned seats.
-Beware of friendly people - someone WILL speak to you.
- Your kids are safe and they'll have fun. Our xCite kids teams are well trained to provide the best possible care for your kids. We operate with an annually reviewed Child Protection Policy and all our child and youth leaders and volunteers are CRB checked.
- We are not after your money, although a free-will offering will take place. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the visit with NO obligation to give.

- We do want you to come relaxed and so provide complimentary refreshments from 9.15-9.45am and after the meeting.

City Church is not a perfect church, but we make every effort to make City Church a perfect place for imperfect people.

We would love to see you there Sunday at 10:00am. For more info, please contact us.
